När vi för några år sedan stängde ner kärnkraften från en enhet så kostar det fortfarande i minst tio år framåt under avvecklingen årligen energi som motsvarar 1000 villahushålls totala förbrukning varje år att avveckla verket på ett säkert sätt (måste kylas).
Alla villor har någon form av uppvärmning. Mitt i villorna tar man och kyler ner den uppvärmda luften (kylskåp och frysskåp/ boxar).
Att byta ut glödlamporna mot så kallade energilampor verkar smart (men kanske inte så klokt när det visar sig att de innehåller kvicksilver). LED lamporna är ännu snålare och inte elaka mot miljön.
